We’re Never Listening To Local TV Again

NOR IS SIC HOOKING UP WITH ANY OF THEIR ANCHORS AGAIN, EITHER

FITSNews - August 25, 2008 - Perhaps because our founding editor has slept with so many TV reporters (particularly in the Charleston, S.C. market), he tends to take everything they say as gospel … like this morning’s story about a State Representative who passed off his toll booth ticket onto some unsuspecting schmo several cities away.

Well, it turns out there was a perfectly innocent and rational explanation for the whole thing (editor’s note: dammit ) … at least as far as State Rep. Bill Herbkersman (a.k.a. Legislator Tag #77) is concerned.

Apparently, people can pre-pay their tolls, which is news to us because we’ll be honest - we didn’t even know there were any toll roads in South Carolina. Anyway, pre-payers have a transponder in their vehicle (Rep. Herbkersman even sent us a picture of his transponder) which is picked up by the toll booth, presumably using some sort of satellite or something. If you go over your alloted credits, the toll booth takes a picture and sends you a ticket in the mail.

Unfortunately, the State Transportation Department can’t seem to distinguish between legislator plates and vanity plates, or for that matter compact sedans and ginormous SUV’s, which resulted in some poor dude in Charleston getting a ticket for a car that he obviously didn’t own.

Anyway, props to Rep. Herbkersman not only for clearing up this nontroversy for us, but for calling the dude in Charleston and apologizing to him for the confusion.

Your mother and Father read this blog some times you know. The first sentence alone isn’t something to be bragging about (especially in the man upstairs eyes..if you know what I mean.) Sorry if you don’t like this comment…but somebody should call you out from time to time. Still love ya.

I have to say that this really raises your stock as a legitimate blog for admitting an error and raises my opinion of some of those elected guys (who knows, some of them may actually be doing the right thing?????).

T,
Who are you anyway??? If you are so easily offended by Sic Willie’s sexual adventures; then don’t read his blog! (It’s honestly that simple) You must have too much time on your hands to be worried about Sic Willie’s salvation. We don’t even see Mrs. Sic Willie bother to comment in Sic’s perverted posts. But, somebody should call YOU out from time to time for pointing too many fingers at the wrongdoings of others rather than your own.

Never said I wasn’t full of sin. I have plenty of specks in my eyes…but thankfully I AM saved. And God DOES say to NOT JUDGE, but to call people out in LOVE…and that is what I did. I won’t bother responding to you again. And for the record…to make it known….I am his sister in law and I care about him (regardless of what he thinks…or anything from the past.)

T,

Where does it say to “call people out in love?” Anyways, it’s stupid to comment on things that have nothing to do with the post. So, I regret to inform you that I will no longer respond to your judgmental comments about a very good friend. What his past holds is none of your business. Let God be the judge on his final day-not you!!!!!
