		<description>The only reason I'm for removing the motto is for the same reason as President Theodore Roosevelt.  Because currency frequently is used for immoral purposes (prostitution, gambling, etc.) we shouldn't sully the name of God by having His name on the money used for immoral purposes.

However, I know that nearly all the people who want to remove the motto from currency want to do it for "freedom FROM religion" grounds.  Just as these are the same people who want to remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance. 

Whether or not it is a valid idea, their reasoning is wrong or at least offensive, so I'll oppose them out of spite.</description>
