		<description>The only reason I&#039;m for removing the motto is for the same reason as President Theodore Roosevelt.  Because currency frequently is used for immoral purposes (prostitution, gambling, etc.) we shouldn&#039;t sully the name of God by having His name on the money used for immoral purposes.

However, I know that nearly all the people who want to remove the motto from currency want to do it for &quot;freedom FROM religion&quot; grounds.  Just as these are the same people who want to remove &quot;under God&quot; from the Pledge of Allegiance. 

Whether or not it is a valid idea, their reasoning is wrong or at least offensive, so I&#039;ll oppose them out of spite.</description>
