#5- ain't that the truth.

#3- If a football team wins half it's games and loses half it's games, I'd say that's as average as they come. On average, they lose once and they win once.

Vanderbilt is looking forward to Sept. 4th when the GameCocks come to Nashville. We want to show our SEC bretheren that last year in Columbia was no "fluke".
Imho, the game will be decided by D backield play for both teams. Should be a low scoring, close game and not determined until the final minutes.
Anybody that tells you Vandy is down this year just dkwtta.

You are being very generous calling USuC average. It's hard to call a football team average when you don't have an overall winning record.

Clemson doesn't really consider USuC a rivalry anymore. It's a domination, with a very few interuptions

Here you go. USC goes 6-6 and that is assuming losses to those we will be underdogs against. I don't think Beecher is the answer and the schedule is brutal. There is always next year. Oh, and I don't think Clemson will lose.

As for bringing in a new, hungry coach to replace Spurrier- I think it'd be clear to everyone now that SC is where good coaches come to have their careers/legacies destroyed. I love USC football (am I allowed to use that acronym anymore?), but if I was a coach I wouldn't come near that job with a ten foot pole. Sparky Woods, Brad Scott, Lou Holtz... poor guys.
