SOUTH CAROLINA TOPS THE NATION IN HISPANIC POPULATION GROWTH
FITSNews - August 14, 2008 - We were in a Lowe’s home improvement store the other day trying to pay cash for a new screwdriver when the auto-checkout machine we were attempting to use got stuck en Español … which is a language we don’t speak.
Apparently, the machine knew something we didn’t - namely, that South Carolina’s Hispanic population is the fastest-growing in the nation …
The Carolinas continue to have the country’s fastest-growing Hispanic populations, despite a slowing economy and a tougher crackdown on illegal immigrants.
According to new census data from 2006-07, South Carolina ranked first among states in per capita growth, North Carolina was third, with Tennessee between them.
What’s particularly interesting about the study is the fact that Hispanics are coming to South Carolina in droves because of the awesome career possibilities our state offers …
Of course, as those of you who follow South Carolina politics are no doubt keenly aware, there’s no need to fret about this new data. The South Carolina legislature - which has done such a great job with everything else it’s touched - is on top of this problem, too.

UPDATE - Interesting … by 2042 it’s projected that “the man” (a.k.a. “whitey,” a.k.a. “cracker fool”) will be the minority in America. Census officials originally projected that to happen in 2050.
