MADDEN ‘09 IN STORES TODAY

FITSNews – August 12, 2008 – “It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday,” people.

After ten consecutive undefeated seasons with his Indianapolis Colts‘ franchise on Madden ‘08, Sic Willie must begin learning the ropes of the latest (and greatest) installment of the world’s longest-running video game franchise.

Madden ‘09 – which hits stores today – will simply blow your mind. We’ve never seen graphics like this before, and the new play-calling features make it even easier for amateurs to get into the action. Unfortunately, the game isn’t available for regular X-Box, which means Sic had to shell out $300 for the new X-Box 360 in addition to the $60 game. Oh well, what Mrs. Sic Willie doesn’t know won’t hurt her …

Anyway, in addition to once again raising the video game bar visually and functionally, the other great thing about the Madden franchise is its kickin’ soundtrack, which this year features tunes from Disturbed, Franz Ferdinand, Busta Rhymes, Good Charlotte, The All-American Rejects, Rev Theory and N’Kaan.
