BARACK OBAMA IS GOING TO “TEXT” HIS VICE PRESIDENTIAL PICK TO SUPPORTERS
FITSNews - August 11, 2008 - It’s a good thing we updated our text messaging plan this morning, because it turns out Democrat Barack Obama (editor’s note: not our BFF ) will be announcing his VP selection using this hip new mode of interpersonal communication.
Trying to get a jump on things, we sent a text message to Obama’s campaign this morning and asked when we could expect them to fire off the missive naming Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine as his selection.
“WTK?” we asked.
“IDK,” came the reply, “L8R.”
Of course that didn’t really happen, and we have no idea whether Kaine is going to be Obama’s guy or not.
Hopefully Obama Girl will call us when she hears something …
