We, in district 5, are looking forward to a fresh start and new leadership. The task at hand now is educating children. And that is what the dedicated professionals across the district plan to do. The teachers and staff at every school will keep the RSES family in our thoughts and prayers. And just as we know – They know that the task at hand now has little to do with politics. It has to do with education. We will make it work with inadequate technology, more portables, substandard buses, limited classroom space, long lunch lines, etc. We will make it work and it will look great! The business of educating our children has little to do with SIC Willie and all the scandal that has gone on this summer. It is a new day and the professionals in this district will rise above the muck and mire and do an exceptional job. Yes, it would be nice to be appreciated and acknowledged. Yes, it would be great to have our schools updated and improved, and it would be awesome to have our problems with overcrowding alleviated. But it is not necessary TODAY. For today, we will walk forward as one and begin the business of educating children. And to SIC Willie – It takes HEART to do that.

If you didn’t get the art …. Notice there are 5 guys in mask. There is the guy in a white shirt who goes to fight them. Meanwhile the girl waits in the car….

What happens? the five guys and the guy in the white shirt walk away friends and the girl is “disposed of”. yea I am thinking the video is right on target of what happened. What I found really odd was the fact that in the warehouse three lacked jackets and the ones being rough had there jackets off. Interesting 5 members broke out 3 and 2….

I said this before and was called bitter for it. Sometimes it is hard to be right. As long as we fail to fund schools like the Board has recommended we will continue to have these type of problems. It is time that we put in the facilities that will attract decent moral people. The teachers we have now are the best we can do with what we have. We have been lucky to hold this thing together for as long as we have. The Board is doing a great job to keep morale as high as it is. It is good to have the information in the public so everyone can see what the Board has been faced with. This behavior has put the future of our district in jeopardy. But thanks to the stewardship of Hite, Gantt, White and Sloop we will get through this, finally vote yes and begin moving forward.
