Yo-Bama Fatigue?
ARE PEOPLE GETTING TIRED OF BARACK ALREADY?
FITSNews – August 6, 2008 – Let’s face it – the American attention span ain’t what it used to be, people. Why the hell do you think we keep most of our articles under five paragraphs?
Anyway, the latest evidence of this diminished focus is the fact we now get sick of our presidents before we elect them … even the “chosen one.”
According to a new poll released by the Pew Center, 48% of America is currently suffering from “Obama fatigue,” and it’s actually driving up the Democratic nominees negatives:
Barack Obama enjoyed much more visibility as far as the public was concerned than did John McCain. By a margin of 76% to 11% respondents in Pew’s weekly News Interest Index survey named Obama over McCain as the candidate they have heard the most about in recent days. But the same poll also shows that the Democratic candidate’s media dominance may not be working in his favor. Close to half (48%) of Pew’s interviewees went on to say that they have been hearing too much about Obama lately. And by a slight, but statistically significant margin – 22% to 16% – people say that recently they have a less rather than more favorable view of the putative Democratic nominee.
We’re sure there’s a focus group somewhere studying this, just as we’re sure there’s a focus group somewhere studying how to make John McCain appear to have a pulse.

By already, you mean less than 3 months before the general election?
Not to mention the only thing that helps Obama more than being on tv, is having John “father time” McCain on TV instead.
I wonder if JM can deliver toys to every boy and girl in the world in one night……..Cindy McCain in a Ms. Clause outfit…….I have to go the bathroom.
