Whenever I encounter a die-hard Carolina fan I always ask when he graduated. 90% of the time the answer I didn't go to USC. To be fair many of the IPTAY folks have no academic connection with the Clemson University. As someone who was born in Columbia and was graduated from Clemson University I get sick of all local media's love with USC and the Gamecocks. It is sooo over the top and just slightly more annoying than when people talk about 'the lake' meaning Lame Murray when there are hundreds of lakes in the area. 'The Game' is at Death Valley. Carolina is in Chapel Hill. USC is in California.
