Jay-Z Is Pretty Funny

FITSNews – August 1, 2008 – Believe it or not, there was a two-week period shortly before the fall of the Roman Empire when we actually thought the band Oasis was cool. And yeah, we’re embarrassed to admit even that.
Since then, they’ve proven to be a bunch of arrogant pricks who sing nothing but whiny songs, which is why we’re glad rapper Jay-Z called them out at last month’s Glastonbury music festival. Of course the Brooklyn native and walking hip hop empire was merely responding to one of the band members, who said rap artists shouldn’t be invited to rock festivals.
Well, after sufficiently mocking Oasis (even coming on stage with a cozy-looking Brit scarf), Jay launched into his crossover hit 99 Problems … only with a little ACDC twist.
Turns out rap can rock, people.
