WHAT’S ALL THE FUSS ABOUT?
FITSNews - July 30, 2008 - Controversy is once again smoldering around our favorite celebrity parent, as new photos of Britney Spears‘ toddler Sean Preston reaching for a cigarette were published today by the UK’s Daily Mail.
Little Sean P never gets to light up, sadly, as Spears was able to snatch the pack of Marlboro Lights and an accompanying cigarette lighter away from the little tike before he could savor those first blissful puffs.
Frankly, we don’t see what the big deal is here. It’s not like smoking kills you or anything, and this hardly strikes us as the egregious example of bad parenting that some people are trying to make it out to be. Particularly not when Spears is looking so much better than she did ten months ago.
Let’s face it, there’s really no crime, indiscretion or social faux pas that shouldn’t be immediately forgiven (or at least rationalized) provided the person involved is showing off a tight body in a bikini at the time of the indiscretion.

Exactly. What IS all the fuss about? Have any of Brit’s critics on this one tried raising two toddlers at once? With freakoids all around snapping pictures like this one?

My opinion on Britney Spears is simple. How can I judge a person I don’t know? Forget the pictures and paparazzi, our celebrity obsessed culture wants her life to implode because it makes their own dysfunction appear normal.
I adhere to a very basic philosophy. Until I achieve perfection, I judge know one. Believe me, I’m as flawed as everyone else.
