FITSNews – July 26, 2008 – It took us a little while to figure it out, but apparently this video is part of an ongoing effort to encourage Atlanta’s female population to avail themselves of the city’s mass transit system.
So yeah, it’s 100% a public service announcement! Kind of like our other favorite rap song. Also, it just so happens that the infectious chorus of “Bitch, U Ride Duh MARTA Bus” is also an excuse for the FITS gals to pimp-stroll through the office all afternoon telling Sic Willie, “Bitch, U Ride Duh MARTA Bus.” Which is just fun. Seriously, people. You won’t be able to get this song out of your head. And why would you want to? Just check out the love it’s getting …
(This is) the best music video ever made. The first time I saw it I laughed at least 10 minutes. Now I have to have my daily dosage (of) The Marta Bus video. No longer do females ride with me, except my mother. Bravo Southwest Dekalb Drum Majors, Bravo!

I think Bob Coble should commission a study to find out how public awareness efforts like this can benefit the CARTA bus system.

Man people are really taking this video too seriously. It’s obviously a joke. Plus this video was made last year, so it’s old news.
