BATMAN STAR SAYS ABUSE ALLEGATIONS ARE UNTRUE

FITSNews – July 22, 2008 – Actor Christian Bale, who was detained by British Police yesterday after his mother and sister accused him of assaulting them, has issued a statement saying the charges against him are untrue. From TMZ:

Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.

We fully expect that this post will prompt some of our readers to rehash Sic Willie’s own experiences with abuse charges, but since they do that everyday anyway no matter what we write about, our guess is that our founding editor probably doesn’t give a rat’s ass.

Frankly, we’re disturbed to hear of accusations of this sort involving anybody (famous or not), but unlike some people we’ll reserve judgment on Bale’s situation until we’ve had a chance to hear all sides of the story.

If you attempt to resist arresting and use physical force, the charge of resisting arrest can escalate into assaulting an officer. Aimee Christian

Inviting BIN The Stalker to comment is risky, but big of you Sic One.

I would bet there is a more than reasonable explanation for this. Seems kind of odd that a guy would decide to beat up his mother and sister while his movie is going gang busters. They are probably trying to extort him or something.
