Wow!

Did anyone see Sanford on CNN today?

Well, he may have been on McCain's short list but I would bet that after that performance the only person pushing for a Sanford GOP VP pick, is Obama.

Mark Sanford is a reform minded governor but absolutely has no business being second in line to run this country.

He HAD a great future, but allowed his immature, peevish approach to politics and his personal vendettas to absolutely ruin any chance for reform in SC.

His was an opportunity wasted. Most of us who want reform are patiently waiting for his second term to run out and then we can elect someone like Congressman Barrett to get the job done!

I tried to explain this to Palmetto Poop all spring, but Fogle didn't get it. I was surprised that y'all at FITS didn't react either. Oh well. I'm still hearing buzz around DC and the northeast that Mark is still seriously being considered.
Why, oh why, then, did Mark sign that ridiculous mini-version of our own S.C. amnesty? Publication on legit sites and publications will follow, but for now, check this out: http://shnv.blogspot.com/2008/07/fake-immigration-reform-in-south.html
