We Are Sucking You Into Our Black Hole
WAIT … IT’S NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT TO SAY “BLACK HOLE” ANYMORE?
FITSNews - July 10, 2008 - In a story that’s sure to generate some “white noise,” a Dallas traffic ticket dispute has turned into the latest example of PC ridiculousness.
What happened? Well, somebody apparently forgot to tell a local commissioner that it’s not OK to use the term “black hole” anymore:
Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections “has become a black hole” because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.
Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud “Excuse me!” He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a “white hole.”
That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.
You know, we were walking Sic Willie’s new puppy before a thunderstorm the other night and were just about to notice the “dark clouds” above. Of course, then we remembered that such a thought would probably be offensive to somebody. Later on, we were about to make a PB&J sandwich with two pieces of “white” bread until we realized that this, too, was probably very, very racist. Even our midnight laundry separation probably smacks of an urge to judge our clothes by the “color of their fabric, not the content of their character.”
Jeez … you know, we’ve been trying not to cuss as much lately since Sic’s in-laws (one of whom is a pastor) are now regular visitors to our burgeoning media empire, but in this instance we feel duty-bound to say that some people are truly too fucking stupid to live. Oh, and if anybody has a problem with that, they can kiss our white holes …
UPDATE - Since it’s Dallas, we wonder if one of Sic’s many MSM exes is on this story …

The only thing worse than this is the ridiculous business etiquette police trying to stop people from using “brainstorm” under the bizarre delusion that it offends those with epilepsy. What was the replacement? “Thought Showers”. I don’t make this shit up, people.

Did the Commish apologise? If he did then you know where the problem lies. If you don’t stand up, then you’ll always be wrong regardless of what you do or say. Remember this is a game and we’re losing because not enough people have the NADS to resist. There will always be thought and speech police as long as you don’t call their game. Sounds to me like Ken should have called them racist and continued the mantra until they imploded. How dare they demean a “Black Hole”

If you haven’t figured out that being offended is a game that has financial benefits for the winner…..well sorry, shouldn’t try to educate. Truth is the first casusalty.
