I love Rush, and listen to his show all the time, but it's basically hits the marketplace that one time, and that's it. There's no rerun market to speak of, no special editions or DVDs, very few places for Clear Channel to recoup its investment except on advertising rates for fresh episodes. And there's not much wiggle room there, as Rush's show has nationwide coverage and expanding terrestrial radio stations really can't expand listernship . . . while Rush's ratings may be improving, can it really justify the advertising rates that it will take for Clear Channel to make money on this deal?
