WE COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YA
FITSNews -June 25, 2008 - Well, our numbers are in from last night and apparently live-blogging yesterday’s election results was one of the smartest things we’ve ever done here at FITSNews.
Not only has it sent our hits through the roof, but we were able to publish the outcome of several high-profile state Senate races long before any other news site in the state had them. In fact, within an hour of the polls closing, we had published the outcome of all three of the State Senate runoffs we were watching …
Sure, Sic Willie is prancing around the office this morning like an insufferable peacock reminding us “that’s how he rolls,” but the FITS gals know that we couldn’t have done anything last night without you - our loyal readers. So thanks to everyone who took the time to phone in, text in, e-mail in and give us the “early skinny,” especially our buds “Lake Girl,” “Nicolicious,” “Ramblin’ Wreck,” “The Dealer,” and “The Doctor.”
We’ll be back momentarily to assess the fallout from primary and runoff season 2008 …
