It has nothing to do with you helping sink the referendum. It DOES have to do with profanity and a link to a pornographic photo (though you may have added that link as a joke). I'm not saying I advocate censorship to this degree. I think that a website like this is not harmful and maybe even beneficial to the students at said school. The reason this site was blocked was not because a PERSON blocked it. But by a software program that essentially googles up websites and scans them for profanity and then adds them to a cache which is then later approved by a person. And there are plenty of other websites that probably should not be blocked by the filter but are. So what if students can't blog during school hours they should be opening up their math or science book anyway. The only class that this website would benefit is Current Issues. And Ive had that class at Dutch Fork. It was a waste of time where the teacher used her students to gain prestige in the community by printing up questions for her students to ask guest speakers and then forcing them to blog for a grade.
