MIDLANDS SCHOOL DISTRICT CENSORS FITS
FITSNews - June 23, 2008 - A school district in an affluent suburb of Columbia, S.C. has banned FITSNews from its computers, sources tell us - despite the fact that our web site’s founding editor has spoken twice at one of its schools.
This morning, web access to FITSNews (which was previously available to students, teachers and staff members) began to be censored by district computers due to “inappropriate material” and “adult language.” Obviously, this development once again stirs the debate concerning obcenity, or at least some politicians’ definition of it …
Anyway … we started thinking … was it our post this morning on the passing of George Carlin (which referenced his infamous “seven dirty words”) that did us in? Or was it our consistent exposure of the education establishment’s illegal involvement in political campaigns? Was it Lindsay Lohan’s nipple?
Wait … maybe it was the fact that three years ago, our founding editor helped sink a multi-million dollar bond referendum for this particular district, earning him the unmitigated scorn of district administrators and the wealthy developers who financed the pro-referendum campaign.
Oh well, the kids still love him …

Hypocrisy, hypocrisy, hypocrisy—Shame on School District 5! Apparently only the jilted spouses around this backwards ass WASPVILLE community give a dam. As the can’t keep her legs closed Principal of River Springs Elementary and the look at me Egomaniac Superintendent Dr.AndersEn are consorting in an “inappropriate” relationship, certain district administrators are too busy worrying about censoring Fitsnews. Wait, adultery is “inappropriate” right? Isn’t this the same school district that Eddie Walker, the Principal of Irmo High School, leaked his resignation to the press because he couldn’t possibly serve in a public school that allowed the formation of a Gay Straight Alliance Club? Weren’t teachers in this district told to not discuss this issue with the media and on district e-mail???? Doesn’t Walker know that censoring/discriminating against certain clubs are illegal??? So now at this very moment (literally, at 7pm H.E.Corley) the Czar behind the Iron Curtain and the Solomon wannabees are deciding the fate of all clubs in the district. They would rather scrap all community service clubs to circumvent their legal woes that they would ultimately face by banning one club at one school. District 5, if you want to remain the crème of the crop—get your priorities straight. 1. Fire the SuperintendEnt who is bopping Mrs. Cole 2. Quit using the district e-mail to campaign for your bond referendum 3. Let old bigoted Walker resign now if that is what he wants 4. Keep the dam clubs, kids need them for college plus they are picking up your friggin trash and ciggies off the side of the roads you drive on 5. Reinstate fitsnews—after all the kids love it, and isn’t this all about our students in the first place?

In all honesty, the admin. probably just doesn’t want the kids to know what their parents are REALLY doing out there on Lake Murray with Jake Knotts and his band of thugs and coke whores — milling about on the “Homewrecker” party barge. All kinds of truth gets suppressed under the guise of protecting the students from a few dirty words — or innovative ideas in education. Aren’t those the same words that are written ALL OVER the desks?

I wouldn’t allow my children to read this blog at home, and I would certainly expect the schools to support that decision. Exposing kids to politics is great (even the out-there wacko views expressed on this site, which they’ll encounter aplenty if they continue to live in this state) but the porn is definitely “inappropriate.” Good for the district.
And by the way, if the district’s decision had anything at all to do with your masterful orchestration of the bond referendum defeat three years ago, you’d think they’d have banned the site….well, three years ago.
