"They want to make the rich richer"

"How can you trust somone that worked for an evil corporation"

"Won't somone please think of the children"

"Don't vote for him, he's an ambulance chaser"

What these statements all have in common is that they are typically made by uneducated people susceptible to demagoguery . "Lawyer hate" is similar to class hatred in that it is an irrational hatred of a class of people usually brought on by ignorance, jealousy, or the propaganda of opposing politicians and special interest groups. Sure, lawyers are not perfect, but we could bring forth examples of misdeeds within all professions. The bottom line is that the vast majority of lawyers are not a group of self serving fat cats smoking cigars, appointing people for there own self intrest (sounds similar the corporation conspiracy liberals often make). Lawyers know more about the practice and development of laws than anyone. Does it not make sense to have them help form the law?

In a time where politicians can not seem to do the right thing Scott Talley has been a wonderful shining star. Lee Bright started his campaign but throwing "MUD" at Scott. I can't beleive that Lee does not pay Workman's Compensation for his employees. Also, Lee's not paying his taxes. I can't beleive Sanford is endorsing Lee. What has happened to his mind. This will also be the last time I vote for Sanford. Sanford has just ended his political carreer. I'm voting for Scott Talley and proud to be a SC Repubican.

Stoker Ace:
Why does the current signage out side Talley’s firm and yellow pages for their law firm only mention personal injury law?

They appear to have been updated to reflect Talley’s association with the firm. Have I overlooked something?

Why would they mention both attorneys but only advertises the type of work that one of the principles does for the firm?

That does not seem logical way to solicit work for the firm to me.

But what do I know about the workings of a law firm I am a mechanic with a high school education. There must be a perfectly logical reason, why they did not want the public know that one of the partners only practices real estate law.

You state with some rancor and inaccuracy that I have abused Talley by raising questions. But to me, an outsider, that is the only way I can be enlightened by an confident of Scott Talley.

Some of the statements attributed to Scott Talley by his supporters seem to be self serving and overblown. Hype to me. With out any actual facts presented they stridently assure me that I have followed the lead of some outsider group blindly by asking questions and trying to ascertain the truth.

Wow, all this over politicians or wanna be politicians. Everyone is right, after all with the latest in Supreme Court decisions being handed down, we wouldn't want to exclude the thought that LAWYERS ( hereto after to be named LAND SHARKS) have found that by owning the bar association, ensuring all judges are former(I crack myself up) land sharks and thereby vet not only local, state and federal judges ....Can anyone say monopoly, I don't think I need to say much more. I'm sure as my mommy used to say "If you look hard enough you'll find something good about them". So quit the arguing before someone decides their offended and wants to sue....Something sure to make the Land Sharks smile....after all blood in the water folks.....

Gene Nowak sure is busy....you only were on SHJ 100 times the other day saying that Talley got into to the ice cream business to help his Senate chances...who the hell would buy that line of crap? Also, as someone who knows Scott Talley, yes he's a lawyer, and a good one, but he doesn't handle personal injury cases, and yes his partner does, so obviously they advertise, just like I am sure On Time Truscking does. But hey, at least Mr. Talley pays his taxes and his insurance on his employees, unlike Mr. Bright.

There sure is a lot of fancy lawyer talk going on here. We in SC don't take to kindly to lawyers, especially when they represent injured people (there all ambulance chasers, right!?).
I reckon I don't want no dagumm people whose job it is to study law making laws, or people who know about laws donating money to a candidate. Only business groups who don't know nothin about laws should be doin the donating. At least they ain't no fancy pantsed lawyer, with hippy loving codes of ethics.

Fits news is losing credibility by the minute.
