Governor’s Daughter Comes Out
DEVAL PATRICK’S DAUGHTER SAYS SHE’S A LESBIAN
FITSNews - June 12, 2008 - For those of you who don’t know who Deval Patrick is, he’s the governor of Massachusetts. No, not that one - the current one. He’s also the guy Barack Obama plagiarized awhile back. All of which has nothing to do with the fact that his daughter came out of the closet today.
From the Boston Globe:
Governor Deval Patrick’s 18-year-old daughter announced this morning that she is a lesbian, calling it a source of pride that she is ready to share with Massachusetts.
“As private of an issue as it is, we’ve sort of had to come to terms with the fact that we are a public family and there you give a part of yourself away,” Katherine Patrick told the gay newspaper Bay Windows in an article published today. “And we also … wanted people to know that it’s not only something that we accept, but it’s something that we’re very proud of. It’s a great aspect of our lives and there’s nothing about it that is shameful or that we would want to hide.”
Amazingly, our own Sic Willie tried to announce to the Bay Windows newspaper awhile back that he was a lesbian but for some reason they passed on the story. Needless, to say it’s a tremendous source of pride for him, too!

It is my sincere hope that Sic meant to say that he, like myself, is half lesbian. One of the great things about being an aging age grouper triathlete is all the cool lesbians you meet. These gals are hot and we have so much in common.

Will I support your Lesbianism and suggest as a coming-out celebration that you and the Governor’s daughter participate in SC Pride this September as one of RuPaul’s Lesbian honour-gaurd, not to be mistaken with the colour gaurd - which will be choreographed by Sen. Craig and SC’s very own. … well we all know who he is.

Believe it or not,
I enjoy checking out Will’s blog because it is his blog and his thoughts and rumblings about what goes on in the world. However, one thing perplexes me - why in the utter hell do you always try to hi-jack the blog and repeat your incessantly inane comments over and over until I become physically sick. It is apparent that there must not be anything to post about on your blog or anyone commenting on your blog b/c you spend every waking moment on here.
Please - get out in the sun - go enjoy a gay relationship or do something on your own and quit trying to use someone else’s podium as a way to inflate yourself. After all the above why don’t you go volunteer at a school or in an AIDS clinic for yourself - surely you can find something better to do with your time besides recapitulating the same old shit you typed on here yesterday.

it’s known as trolling — that’s whe you find someone you disagree with and instead of having constructive dialog with that person pointing out where you differ and using persuasion and a sense of charity in one’s arguments as well as rhettoric, you simply berate them. It’s more common coming from the right against the left, but in SC it comes from all directions and is aimed at whoever where ever.
