No one, (and I mean no one), has brought us up with the rest of the nation. I was involved in a South Carolina School District for 19 years and although I was not a teacher, I watched in some classrooms in more than one school, the lack of discipline and it wasn't always the fault of the teacher. I have been out of touch for the last six years but standards should be raised and students who can't make it deserve to fail, not passed on because they are a minority or any other lame reason. The only reason we are on the bottom is lack of leadership and we can't seem to find the right people.
