WE KNOW WHAT HE’S AGAINST, BUT WHAT’S HE FOR?

FITSNews – June 9, 2008 – We know that “Republican” Rep. Carl Gullick doesn’t like “out-of-state ideologues.” We also know that he hates “vouchers,” and pretty much any attempt to actually do something to fix South Carolina’s rotten public school system.

In fact, Gullick has been the most vocal of all the incumbent lackeys for our state’s failed status quo, berating those he views as part of a conspiracy to undermine a system of public education which has frankly done everything within its power to undermine itself.

Gullick is a parrot of the worst possible kind, someone whose intellectual curiosity extends no further than the talking points he’s handed by liberal education establishment groups like the S.C. Association of School Administrators or the S.C. School Boards Association.

On top of that, Gullick is a walking taxpayer disaster, earning an “F” rating from the S.C. Club for Growth during his first term in Columbia, in which lawmakers blew through a record $1.5 billion in new spending.

Simply put, Gullick’s got to go, and we hope the emerging conservative grassroots movement in his neck of the woods steps up tomorrow to show him the door …

The BIN News staff doesn’t know Gullick, but anyone who is the subject of the pitiful wrath of sic(k) willie’s bought and paid for political rants is someone our staff will endorse. Run Gullick, Run!!

sic(k) willie describes our “public school system” as “rotten.” This from someone convicted of Criminal Domestic Violence.

Simply put, sic(k) willie’s got to go, and we expect responsible voters will smite his chosen candidates right in the ballot box.

Don’t know either of the guys fit’in(fighting) here, but the South Carolina Public School system need a ‘fixin’ that’s for sure.
No one, (and I mean no one), has brought us up with the rest of the nation. I was involved in a South Carolina School District for 19 years and although I was not a teacher, I watched in some classrooms in more than one school, the lack of discipline and it wasn’t always the fault of the teacher.
I have been out of touch for the last six years but standards should be raised and students who can’t make it deserve to fail, not passed on because they are a minority or any other lame reason.
The only reason we are on the bottom is lack of leadership and we can’t seem to find the right people.

Darrell,

If you are what you say you are then you know the real problems facing public education in S.C. They include poverty, racism and the host of social ills that come with them.

sic(k) willie and the voucher scam clowns refuse to acknowledge the real problems. The voucher scam clowns don’t care about those who really need help. The voucher scams clowns don’t really care.
