FITSNews “Undorsement” - Randy Scott
IT’S NOT JUST THE DUI, PEOPLE
FITSNews - June 8, 2008 - In case you couldn’t tell from his jail house telephone calls, State Sen. Randy Scott is one tough hombre. In fact, shortly after we defied a court order and published Scott’s jail house tapes from his DUI arrest earlier this year, we got a call from a lobbyist friend of ours warning us to watch our backs because Scott was “trying to track (us) down.”
Scott’s intimidation tactics are legendary in Dorchester County, where he has been the big bully on the block ever since he was elected to the State Senate in 2004. He’s also been one of the biggest spenders of your tax dollars, and one of the biggest impediments to creating a government that actually works as opposed to … well … doing whatever it is that South Carolina’s government does.
Aside from his participation in the broader spending orgy that’s taken place in Columbia over the past few years, Scott even voted for the infamous green bean museum last year, and he applied for the controversial “competitive grant” that ending up spending your tax dollars on an Elvis impersonator.
Anyway, we’ll be the first to admit that Scott’s opponent Mike Rose has a few issues of his own, but thankfully one of them isn’t wasting your money. In fact, during Rose’s previous service in the State Senate, he had one of the best records in the entire nation when it came to watching out for your bottom line.
For the sake of South Carolina taxpayers everywhere, we hope Dorchester County voters will stand up to Scott’s thuggish tactics and elect a true fiscal conservative to this Republican seat …
UPDATE - Here are links to our previous “undorsements” of fellow fake Republicans like Bill Sandifer, Keith Kelly, Gloria Haskins, B.R. Skelton and Bob Walker … more to come.

How the HELL can you not “UNDORSEMENT” Annette Young. Rumours has it that she has had more than one DUI and got taken home. We’ve got some crew down here, Randy Scotch, and Annette Dewars Young! 36 hours until the poles open, wonder if anyone cares anymore?

if I was being railroaded, I would have raised hell on the phone too. Guess the end result showed justice works. Of course, there is no verdict on his voting record.

Dear “Love Dorchester”:
It is “poll” not “pole”.
And, “Believe It Not” needs to come up with a new angle - his current one is a little tired.
