Panic At The Disco
KILLER COVER, KILLER TUNE
FITSNews – May 22, 2008 – It takes a lot of stones to cover Radiohead, especially a song from the OK Computer era like “Karma Police” with its intricate piano opening and xylophone accoutrement, but we’ve got to hand it to Panic At The Disco for pulling it off.
Here’s Thom & Co.’s original video for the song, and yet even as we bow to it and the “complaint rock” greatness that is Radiohead on a daily basis, there’s something about this up-tempo version (combined w/ Brandon Urie’s unique vocal style) that we actually like better.
It’s a lot like when Johnny Cash covered Nine Inch Nails, or wait … was it the other way around?
Anyway, enjoy the tune … and remember, despite what bass players say, it really is the xylophonists who get all the chicks …

I agree, this was a fantastic cover!
I’m glad someone else thinks so. :)

GIVE UP MUSIC CRITICISM NOW. Become a farmer or something, this comment is unpardonable.
