Posted by fitsnews in : SC Politics , trackbackTHE REST OF THE BLOGOSPHERE CATCHES UP ON SPEAKER HARRELL’S DECISION …
FITSNews - May 13, 2008 - In case you missed it, we published an article over a month ago saying that S.C. Speaker of the House Bobby Harrell would NOT be running for governor of South Carolina in 2010.
Not surprisingly, everybody questioned our sources and basically said we were full of it, because at the time we published our original story, most Palmetto political observers agreed that Harrell’s gubernatorial ambitions were pretty much unquenchable.
Well … fast-forward to this afternoon, when not one, not two but three political blogs here in South Carolina all “broke” the story of Harrell’s decision NOT to run for governor.
Nice work, dudes. You’re only 36 days behind the FITS gals …

You could not be more full of shit, if you tried. Your posts are full of half-truths and outright lies, so no one with any sense of who you are or what you do would take you seriously.
Just lay back down on the couch and wank a couple times to “Wild Things,” since you’re actually proficient at that.
Unfortunately not a single one of them have a direct confirmation.

Sic Willie will no doubt enjoy “Wild Things” in his own inimitable way, but please tell us - what about our reporting of Speaker Harrell’s decision over a month ago was wrong?
Similarly, what was an “outright lie” or “half-truth” about our coverage of the competitive grants scandal, or the bar exam fiasco, or the Bob Barr running for President story, or the Senator w/ the DUI problem - or any of the articles we’ve written that have resulted in mainstream media attention at the state and national level?
Sure, throw stones at us all you want but at the end of the day, as usual, we were on the money.

Keep up the good work Gals…..you all are head and shoulders above the rest especially the daily poop, pass the ketchup, please!
I hate to give Willie credit, but he did scoop the story and it has been bantered about in political circles for a while now.
