That is great work on the part of this Solicitor (note: sarcasm) – he should even lobby to have an elected officail be in charge of the convictions for criminal violations in the Circuit that covers Orangeburg Co. then we would sure see some oversight and supervision of the dispensing of criminal justice in that area…oh wait, that position already exists, IT IS the Solicitor’s office. This is perfect “not my fault posturing” by the Solicitor.

It is afterall his office that is in charge of prosecutions in Orangeburg, so if anything untoward is going on it is acutally HE who is to blame for the lack of oversight. Now he is “willing to look into it,” thanks but not thanks – if there is a mess it is his mess also.
