[...] According to State Ethics Commission filings, it turns out the SC Medical Association is the single largest contributor to the Senate slush fund over the most recent reporting period - donating a $10,000 chunk of change to the Caucus’ “operating account,” which is in turn dumping tens of thousands of dollars into the reelection efforts of vulnerable Senators like Catherine Ceips and Jim Ritchie. [...]

Pitchfork,
I think that rather than a dislike for members of the SC General Assembly we have an epidemic of distrust of government. In my opinion that trust can only be restored by "throwing these scalawag out of office" on June 10th. HAVE A NICE DAY ALL!

Good morning Will,
I'm told that Mr. Ritchie might be political history after June 10th as he's facing credible opposition from known conservative Shane Martin. A number of my friends in Greenville/Spartanburg are telling me that there's a tsunami of opposition to Ritchie's sell out to special interest and that he might possibly face "the agony of defeat" on June 10th.

I get the distinct feeling that not only his gubernatorial bid is on hold, but that he's really running scared for his Senate seat. I think lightning may strike in Spartanburg come June.

Immigration has direct massive negative consequences on today's and yesterdays economy. It is all encompassing your Jobs and economic growth, energy independence, health care access, education. All these issues are impacted by the 12 to 30 million illegal immigration invasion.

A few states now are representing the American taxpayers, instead of the special interest lobby. It's taken forty years of complete inattention or betrayal by Washington and timid Governors, Mayors and their lieutenants. Now they must face up to the fact that the majority of taxpayers are sick and tired, of being a welfare system for big business who hire cheap illegal labor.
