DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY IS THE NEVER-ENDING (BORING) STORY
FITSNews - April 23, 2008 - We know we’re supposed to be rooting for a long, drawn-out Democratic Presidential Primary. We know this.
We know that the longer Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama beat up on each other, the better it will be for Republican presidential nominee John McCain, who we kinda sorta suppose we want as our next President. Personally, we’d take a friggin’ sea otter over the current occupant of the Oval Office, but that’s another story.
Anyway, as much as we’re grudgingly happy that Clinton’s fight will continue after her much-needed win in Pennsylvania yesterday, our joy is not complete.
In fact, we’re kinda pissed off that we have to listen to these two ass-clowns for another however many months.
Seriously, the Democratic nominating fight sucks in every sense of the word. They’re always arguing about stupid crap like which campaign has the most sand in its vagina at that particular moment.
If only this race pitted Geraldine Ferraro against Al Sharpton … at least then it would be entertaining to watch.
UPDATE - For those of you who actually prefer the current matchup to a Ferraro-Sharpton showdown, our favorite national blogger Chris Cillizza as usual has a great take on the aftermath of yesterday’s Democratic voting.
