FITSNews - April 21, 2008 - Other than the whole peg leg thing, another interesting nugget about the Senator Randy Scott DUI scandal that’s been brought to our attention involves his early departure from the State Senate on the day South Carolina’s new drunk driving bill was being debated.

According to the S.C. Senate Journal for Wednesday, February 20, Sen. Scott was granted a leave of abscense from the Senate Chamber at around 5:18 p.m. - or nine minutes before the Senate officially adjourned for the day.

Now that’s the kind of commitment to Happy Hour we like to see …

I have to admit this post is clever, but your political skirt is showing. You are really digging into this guy before the facts are all out.

How do you know the guy did not have to go to a doctor’s appointment or to watch a grandson’s baseball game?
