FITSNews Exclusive – Gyllenhaal Throws Hissy Fit
ACTOR’S ANTICS DELAY FILMING OF “NAILED” IN SOUTH CAROLINA
FITSNews – April 17, 2008 – We know, it’s hard to imagine someone this manly throwing a hissy-fit, but according to our source on the set of the movie “Nailed,” that’s exactly what actor Jake Gyllenhaal did yesterday, causing the crew to shut down filming early and spend an additional day shooting at the South Carolina State House.
“He was complaining that the room was too small, complaining about the temperature, complaining about his chair,” our source says. “It was like watching a two-year old have a meltdown every five minutes.”
According to a source in the S.C. Treasurer’s Office, Gyllenhaal’s co-star Jessica Biel has by contrast been “delightfully friendly,” chatting up onlookers and even turning a few cartwheels on the State House grounds the other day.
Sources also tell us that S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford has invited the film’s stars to dine at the Governor’s Mansion with his family while they are in town, although he reportedly hasn’t received a reply yet.
One other thing, we can’t confirm or deny rumors that Sanford plans to pitch a feature film to Gyllenhaal based on the “Brokeback Fishing Trip” the governor took four years ago with State Sen. Chip Campsen.

…and here my sources told me it was an altercation between James Caan and the director that brought things to a halt – odds are both contributed, although I’ve not heard about this incident…

Whatever, anyone who is going to use Jake’s sexuality (which you really don’t know so you can’t just claim he is gay) or his role in Brokeback Mountain to make fun of him and claim he threw a hissy fit is pathetic. Nice try but I would need a better source than you all to believe this

I think the reason Jessica was so friendly is because she brought her dog Tina while filming

my child was an extra on the movie filmed off of farrow rd. Jessica Beil was very sweet to the kids, but in all honesty the whole production is a joke. The people from the casting dept. are unknowledgable, unfriendly, and totally unorganized. The only girl worth anything was only there one day. Why would they let such screwballs be in charge of who’s casted. So, why should anyone be surprised that Jake’s uncomfortable here? You don’t have to be homophobic, Rep. or Dem. to know that most people here are stupid. Just go watch movie’s that have been filmed here. Gov. Sanford should do his job. If he’s going to offer incentive’s for the film industry to come here, he should also hire smarter people to run it……….
