Colleagues: Sandifer Reveling In Scandal
UPSTATE REPRESENTATIVE REPORTEDLY “THRILLED” WITH ATTENTION OVER RACIST FLYERS
FITSNews – April 15, 2008 – A colleague of S.C. Rep. Bill Sandifer says the longtime state legislator is “thrilled” that flyers belittling African-Americans as lazy were discovered on his State House desk earlier this month.
“He’s thrilled by it,” the Representative said. “That’s just the way Bill is, though.”
According to another State Representative who spoke with FITSNews on the condition of anonymity, Sandifer is reveling in the attention because he believes it will benefit him politically in his Oconee County district, which is 95% white.
“He told me (the scandal) would guarantee his reelection in Oconee County,” the Representative said, adding that Sandifer informed several of his colleagues that he sent our original article to several people in his district as “free advertising.”

So, was this flyer “planted” for FITS review? If the Rep’s quote is on target, then this Dude Sandifer is sicker than sic (who is actually quite healthy).

He is playing he constituents. He knows what they are like nd what they need to hear to elect him. If he thought they would be disgusted by the flier, he would not make it.
