How Senator McConnell Rolls
NOW THIS IS A COOL BUMPER STICKER
FITSNews – April 9, 2008 – It’s not quite as awesome as our Mothers Against Duran Duran bumper sticker, but we’ve got to throw some love to S.C. Senate President Glenn McConnell for slapping this on his ride.
Sure, his car is a major POS, but at least it’s got personality. Not unlike our old Pimpfiniti, God rest its soul.
Of course, the next time 1965 calls and tells Sen. McConnell it wants its Mercedes back, hopefully he’ll remember to peel this sticker off before returning it to its rightful decade.

Maybe this makes me a bad person, but I’ve always wanted to get little Union Jack stickers and put them on top of the Confederate flag bumper stickers I see around. I mean, “Heritage not hate” or “Send more Yankees they sure are delicious” are probably better slogans for Her Majesty’s battle flag, and our culture owes a lot more to the British Empire than it does to a decentralized government that was around for four years.

Rob W (see comment #1) is a typical example of the type of cultural imperialism we Southern people face today. They would rid us of our cultural symbols and belittle us at every opportunity. Of course, this doesn’t make us unique in the world – many cultures endure similiar attacks. However, this is our own and we must defend it from those who would destroy the things we hold dear. Thank God there are people like Senator McConnell out there! Stay strong, Senator.
