FITSNews – April 7, 2008 – It’s funny how the government always positions tax day precisely six months from election day, like we were going to forget the state and federal gang rape on our annual income that politicians in Washington and Columbia, S.C. are gearing up for this week.
Seriously, we need to go into the prostitution or drug trafficking business because to borrow a line from our favorite Wedding Crasher, we feel like Jodie Foster in ‘The Accused’ right about now.
Uncle Sam and his illiterate, red-headed South Carolina stepchild (Uncle Jesse?) are seriously taking our asses to the cleaners this year, people. Six digits? We never thought we’d make that much money, let alone have to give it away to these idiots (oh, and these idiots, too).
UPDATE – Ironically, it turns out South Carolina’s revenue estimates were lowered today. Hey, don’t blame us …
