ATTEMPT TO SPREAD COMPUTER VIRUSES VIA BRITNEY MAY NEED RETOOLING
FITSNews – April 7, 2008 – According to the Financial Mirror, which may or may not be a real news organization, cyberterrorists are trying to spread the Agent.IMB Trojan virus (editor’s note: whatever the f*ck that is ) by sending people e-mails promising erotic pictures of Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson, Shakira and … wait for it … Britney Spears. From the story:
These emails are very simple: they have subjects such as “naked Shakira clipâ€, “Rihanna exposed†or “Scarlett Johansson spills boobsâ€, and include a link with the text “Download and Watchâ€.
If the user clicks the link, they will download a copy of the Agent.IMB Trojan to their computer. This malicious code copies itself to the system under the name “CbEvtSvc.exe†and creates a service with the same name to run whenever the system is started up.
We have absolutely no idea what any of that means, but our guess is that when it comes to getting people to open e-mails that harbor malicious viruses intent on destroying your computer, Britney probably isn’t as effective a vehicle as those other chicks. Of course, when it comes to spreading malicious viruses that destroy your immune system the odds probably get a lot better …

Ah, but Scarlett Johnansson might be too good to be true whereas most people would easily accept that there is a free naked Britney video. In fact, I’d be more surprised if there isn’t one.
