Too many people in the district know the guy personally. What it will likely do is get a bunch of folks all ticked off to put up signs and turn out at the polls for Knotts. Those folks voted against Sanford, and they'll now be motivated to turn out again. You guys needs a constituent service type hit mail to score some real points. Find a rebel flag flying grandma who Knotts ignored, and you can do some real damage in that district.
