FOX News Can’t Spell FITS
… BUT LAURIE DHUE’S TASTE IN SLINGBACKS IS IMPECCABLE, PEOPLE
FITSNews - April 1, 2008 - Apparently our little story on Libertarian Bob Barr’s forthcoming presidential announcement is blowing up like the crack man’s pager over on FOX News, which is pretty cool even if the network forgot to put the “S” in “FITS.”
Initially, we were going to respond to this indignity by refusing to put the “F” in “FOX,” but then we realized that wasn’t at all funny, that FOX doesn’t really give a rat’s ass what we do and that shutting our pie holes and enjoying the national press (sigh, yet again) was probably the right call.
Of course, we were then forwarded a nice picture of Laurie Dhue’s patent red leather slingbacks (above) from a friend of ours at the network’s Atlanta bureau, at which point all was forgiven.
Incidentally, our story also got picked up by the LA Times this morning. We say “incidentally” because no one there has provided us with a picture of red patent leather slingbacks yet … seriously, LA Times, we’re waiting.

Nice shoes, Ms. Dhue. If only only your taste in employers were so discriminating…I hope Barr runs for the LP nomination. It really shows the guy for the man of principle I believe him to be.
For those who may not know, it was a group of LP activists that helped unseat Barr in the congressional primary, mostly for his support of the Drug War. Now he’s an advocate for the Marijuana Policy Project.

Barr lost the primary because the dems gerrymandered his district by splitting his district three ways and he had to go up against an incumbent republican on his own turf. Barr lost by 30 percent it had nothing to do with LP activists.
Now Barr is going to hand the presidency to Obama.
There are six justices over the age of 70. Obama will be replacing Scalia with an ultra liberal.
Obama is for banning handguns, assault weapons ban, closing gun show loophole, suing manufacturers.
I thought the libertarian party was pro second amendment. Yet they paid for Kerry’s recount and were openly rooting for a Kerry presidency.
How can they claim to be second amendment when they root for politicians who are so anti second amendment.

You know. Like the Midland’s elected official you claimed has a Strom problem. How about the latest on your FOI demand for the gub’ner’s laptop. Or, an update on the brazillion of other “scams” you’ve blathered about but never given updates on. We remember.
How about some update on the Red Neck Shop or Lizard Man. Make your blog interesting to real honest people. Or, just turn it into the porno site you really want it to be.

Bob Barr is not going to “hand the Presidency to Barack Obama.” That would require getting votes, which Bob will not actually do. If Bob didn’t have some personal issues, he’d have a prayer in this field; if he’s the LP nominee, the conservatives come home to McCain.
