We’re Girl-Crushing On Kathleen Parker Again

COLUMNIST NAILS IT WITH LATEST MASTERPIECE – “OBAMA, THE MAGICIAN”

FITSNews – March 21, 2008 – Unlike that emaciated giraffe-looking TV hatemonger Ann Coulter, conservative newspaper columnist Kathleen Parker is the real deal, people. A smart, sassy, sexy purveyor of only the most eloquent and eminently logical conservative wisdom, Parker’s take on Barack Obama’s big race speech this week has officially blown us out of the water. Basically, it’s exactly what we would have written if we were as smart, sassy and sexy as Kathleen Parker:

Obama’s speech Tuesday from Philadelphia — the city of brotherly love — was eloquent, inspiring and will be read in schools for generations. But between the lines of change and reconciliation were a discomfiting hint of buried fury, a sense of racial righteousness and a tacit approval attached to his expressed disapproval of Wright’s now-famous raves that will leave many Americans wondering: Is he with us? Or is he against us?

Wow. What we wrote totally sucks compared to that. And since we’re the greatest writers like, ever, it’s pretty obvious what happened here. We got hoodwinked, people. Bamboozled. We didn’t land on Barack Obama’s magical misdirection tour, Barack Obama’s magical misdirection tour landed on us.

Anyway, since we’ve expressed our undying affection for “Miss Parker, Miss Parker” on several occasions in the past, we won’t subject her to any further sexual harassment embarassment here. Except to say “rock on,” girlfriend.

Kathleen Parker asks: “Is he with us? Or is he against us?”

My comments: Who are the “us?” Why being cynical? Open your mind and heart to something good. Your are beautiful!

C’mon akrob. Obviously “us” is white women with the Barbara Walters Filter on their pictures.

Obama is obviously a terrorist who hates America, OMG SHE’S SO SMART.

Also, I wouldn’t leave any oats or hay laying nearby “Ms. Parker” unless you want them to be eaten.

I’ve been seeking a Kathleen Parker fan club for years. She’s my favorite columnist around. All the wit and sass of Maureen Dowd, without the lame politics. Fantastic combo!

This is why Obama didn’t want to make an issue of his race. Now the right believes that since he opened the door everything is fair game.

Parker writes of her concern whether Obama is “with us.” Does she believe that every minority citizen has justifiably wondered the same thing of every presidential candidate in the history of this great nation? Of course not.

While she sure can write it, I doubt she correctly pronounces “divisive.”
