AND THE LPGA HAS A SUPERBABE, PEOPLE …
FITSNews - March 19, 2008 - We’re not trying to be politically incorrect or anything, but we’re not fearing much in the way of contradiction when we say that the LPGA isn’t exactly loaded with girls that look like Natalie Gulbis - either on the links or in the gallery. And since we’re all about rewarding people based on how closely they resemble Lindsay Lohan, we figured today was as good a day as any to give you an update on the 25-year-old golf sin-sation. From Reuters:
After winning her maiden LPGA title at the Evian Masters last year and pocketing more than $3 million in career earnings, Gulbis said her sole focus was to iron out the shortcomings in her game and to challenge for titles.
The American is currently in joint 13th place at the $2 million HSBC Women’s Champions tournament in Singapore with little chance of reeling in runaway leader Lorena Ochoa.
“I’ve got off to a slow start this year so I’m going to have to grind to pick it up a little bit,” the 25-year-old told Reuters after her third round at the Tanah Merah Country Club on Saturday.
Iron out the shortcomings in her game? Uhhh … we honestly don’t see any, people. And we’ve been looking incredibly, incredibly hard for like the last four hours. Seriously, Gulbis could hook a tee shot square into the face of our best friend in the whole world and we’d probably still bow in mute reverence as she approached her ball. Oh, you say you’re bleeding profusely from the head, dear friend? Sorry … we hadn’t noticed.

Yes Natalie has game. I wish I could say the same for an excellent senior softball player at Beaufort High who was denied eligibility yesterday by the South Carolina High School League Appeals Board in Columbia. The Boards reason, unjustified transfer. This young lady transferred last year from Battery Creek High School to Beaufort High. Why? To escape the abuse, assaults, harassment, and vandalism of personal property brought upon her by a former boyfriend. So you have Battery Creek and the SCHSL promoting violence against women. It’s that kind of thinking that gives us murdered co-eds, the Natalie Holloways, the Lacy Petersons, etc. Their thinking is “these bitches must have brought it on themselves”. I guess Lauren should have just kept quiet and took her beatings like a good little girl.
There were only two dissenting votes. Both walked out in disgust after the vote. Oh and after their nearly two hour drive to Cola., the plaintiffs were given a mere 10 minutes of the Boards precious time.
It would be nice if someone with some semblance of justice and intellect (should such a person exist in our state guvment) would simply recall this esteemed Board and demand that they allow Lauren to play.

oh btw, the little scrawny turd who perpetuated all this, is playing baseball 3 nights a week for Battery Creek High School. Buts that’s alright.
Oh and Lauren is repesented in our legislature by 2 women, Shannon Erickson and Catherine Ceips.

old bike dude: The SCHSL is only following the example set by the South Carolina Supreme Court. Only do what is in the best political interest of the five members of the Supreme Court. My bet is there is some political payoff for somebody involved in your mess.
