The Educrats Are Getting Sued
SC ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS COULD BE FORCED TO OPEN ITS BOOKS
FITSNews – March 12, 2008 – A Lexington man who just happens to know karate is suing the South Carolina Association of School Administrators to open its books, the Charleston Post and Courier is reporting today. Guess this is what the SCHotline was talking about the other day, but knowing Jeffrey Sewell it could be something else. Like perhaps a lawsuit that would keep him from wearing those faggoty-ass ascots all the damn time. Anyway, from the Post and Courier:
Randy Page, president of South Carolinians for Responsible Government, filed a lawsuit Tuesday claiming that the statewide association is a public body and should be required to comply with state law.
The motivation behind the suit is the administrators’ ties to the Leaders in Education Administration Political Action Committee, which was formed to raise money to support lawmakers who support education and oppose vouchers and tuition tax credits.
Aside from the fact that giving gobs of new money to the nation’s worst public school system isn’t exactly our definition of “supporting education,” this suit has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with vouchers, tax credits or any of those so-called controversial things.
As far as we can tell, this lawsuit is all about whether or not the SCASA – which receives public funding, performs government functions, takes advantage of state benefits and uses taxpayer time, equipment and other resources to conduct its business – should have to answer to the people who help pay its bills. Hell, just click on the dozen or so e-mail addresses listed on the SCASA Board of Directors page to see how open and shut this case should be. All but one of those e-mails are all paid for by us, people.
Of course, the biggest irony in this case is that these worthless educrats are the most frequent bitchers and moaners about the so-called corrupting influence of out-of-state money on our state’s education debate. Which is fine. We’re not saying they don’t have a right to express that opinion, but they sure as hell shouldn’t be allowed to do it on our nickel. And they sure as hell shouldn’t use taxpayer dollars to fund candidates who tow their anti-reform line in the S.C. General Assembly.

SCRG must be desperate for attention! You call your voucher scam “reform,” but responsible taxpayers and elected officials continue to recognize your scam for what it really is: compost.
As we have said here eleventy brazillian times before, we may be willing to discuss your voucher scam after the real problems facing public education are fixed. Remember what they are?
-poverty and related social ills
-latent (and overt) racism (seen the Highway Patrol videos?)
-funding issues – yes, many schools are underfunded
Vouchers abandon those who need help the most.
That’s why vouchers are such a scam.
willie, the road to your recovery from your voucher scam brainwashing can start right now. Give SCRG back the scam money they pay you to attack our schools and dedicated professional educators.
They need the cash to buy more elected officials.
Then watch the truth:

BIN-
We hate to disrupt your fantasy, but as we’ve said on dozens of occasions in the past, SCRG is not one of our parent company’s clients. Nor is the governor, the Lt. governor, or any of the dozen or so other politicians and organizations which Viewpolitik, LLC is repeatedly accused of representing.
Of course feel free to keep making demonstrably false statements about our founding editor. He’s used to it by now … sorta the story of his life.
Oh, and we’ll keep publishing those demonstrably false statements because hell, at this point you’re one of our favorite broken records. You’re definitely one of our attorneys’ favorite broken records.
So keep it comin’!
