Somebody’s Suing Somebody
SCHOTLINE SAYS “MAJOR EDUCATION LAWSUIT” IMMINENT
FITSNews – March 10, 2008 – Since bringing you sexy pictures of courtroom gavels is one of our most important responsibilities here at FITSNews (see here and here), we figured the news that somebody is suing somebody over something related to education in South Carolina was worth posting on, even if we have less of a clue than SCHotline as to what the lawsuit is about:
SC Hotline is receiving reports today that a major lawsuit is about to break in the ongoing debate over school choice in South Carolina. Sources are saying the lawsuit will “turn the entire education debate in this state completely on its head.”
So far, all we are being told is that the lawsuit involves South Carolinians for Responsible Government (SCRG), the grassroots organization that is supporting school choice. No word yet on whether it is targeting SCRG or not, or when and where it is going to be filed, although the group has been targeted by several lawmakers in recent weeks who are rumored to be on its “Hit List.”
We’re going to go out on a limb here and guess that this lawsuit will either be “good news” or “bad news” for SCRG, although an attorney for the organization couldn’t confirm or deny that. He did state unequivocally, however, that our latest gavel picture was excrutiatingly hot!

Too bad the Honorable Matthew Perry is not able to practice. Remember, Judge Perry argued effectively, and under severe pressure, with grace.
What case was it bigtime political operatives?

This post tells us that sic(k) willie is clueless. But, we have the facts: SCRG is “grass roots” like unpasteurized compost is “fresh milk.” At least compost produces fresh turnips and rutabagas.
All SCRG produces is rabid and paid politically motivated attacks against educating ALL children in S.C. SCRG will leave behind those who need help the most. And, they don’t care. Neither does willie.
sic(k) willie, here’s the lesson again. Fix these things first, then we may talk about your voucher scams! Fix:
- Poverty and related social issues
- Latent and overt racism
- Funding problems for many schools

BIN,
it’s obvious you are as intelligent and idealistic as thirteen-year-olds come, and one who really knows her way around a computer. So brava to you! I have a few questions, some I am very sure you have already worked out the answers to (by googling Obama’s or Hillary’s talking points):
1. How does one (or even a group of ones) “fix” poverty and related social issues? Through legislation? Redistributing the wealth through social programs funded by taxes has not done much to improve the overall status of poor people. Since the advent of social programs, crime has greatly increased, nuclear families are in short supply, and the poor continue to represent the largest class of folks incarcerated. So, in all seriousness, how does one “fix” poverty?
2. How does a society tackle “latent and overt” racism? We have laws coming out of our ears forbidding it in speech and acts, so I assume that thought control is not far behind. And yet, on the whole, black people choose to worship with black people, just as most whites worship in a mostly-white church. On campuses and in workplaces all over the US, people segregate themselves, choosing to socialize with people who share their common experiences. Is this racism? Or free choice?
3. So you think that no other issues should be addressed or contemplated until Sic(k) Willie himself “fixes” this list of three? I had no idea Sic(k) Willie had so much power and influence. I bet he did not, either!
And my apologies to the rest of you who read this blog, and to FITSNEWS- BIN and her teeny boppin’, totally unrealistic world philosophies just get on my damn nerves sometimes…
BTW- BIN? If you are so concerned about the state of education in SC (as we all should be), perhaps, when you graduate from HS and college, you could work as a teacher in one of the under-served areas of SC. In that capacity, you would have an entire classroom, nay, perhaps an entire district, to brainwash–err- enlighten.

The BIN News Legal Department reviewed this “major” legal action, and unanimously concluded Randy, SCRG and sic(k) willie’s other money masters are very very frustrated. Well, actually, what they really said is Randy should try to pee up a rope. It would give him a better chance at a warm feeling than this foolish lawsuit.
And, willie’s alter ego, Minced Meat (Mincing Words) needs to sign up for anger management and diversity training. Then he needs to see the award winning Corridor of Shame to overcome his brainwashing.
Vouchers are a scam. Those pushing them are scambaggers. Which is worse than carpetbaggers. Notice we took the high road and did not call them scumbaggers. :) But, the know what they really are.
