Obama’s Free Ride Is Ending?

THE MEDIA IS GOING TO START DOING THEIR JOBS?

FITSNews - March 3, 2008 - Since we don’t peddle idle and unsubstantiated gossip on this website, we’ve yet to write about an awful rumor going around that Barack Obama has been handled with kid gloves by the American media. Wait a minute … is that because we’ve been sucked into Obama’s good vibe vortex ourselves? Actually, no. We recently compared his education plan to Kim Kardashian’s ass and told him to stop Oprahfying the world.

Anyway, according to some guy who covers media for the Washington Post, Obama’s free ride from the rest of the press could be coming to an end soon:

The Illinois senator still hasn’t faced the sort of negative onslaught that generally envelops presidential front-runners. But after a year of defying the laws of journalistic gravity, he is being brought back to earth.

First of all, we’re sure Hillary is thrilled they waited until now. More importantly, though, what the hell are the “laws of journalistic gravity?” And does proving them involve simultaneously pushing Rush Limbaugh and Anne Coulter off the top of a skyscraper to see if they both splatter the pavement at the same time? Because if it does, we’ll be happy to hold the stopwatch … or even make like Galileo and keep the time with our pulse.

Yeah riiight.
Regardless of any attempt at “jounalistic onslaught”, Obama has need for only two replies:
a. It’s because I’m almost black isn’t it!
b. Your momma!
