FITSNews - February 21, 2008 - As if every word of this website wasn’t shamelessly self-promotional enough, we’re proud to announce that FITSNews 2.0 will feature a brand spankin’ new online gift shop, where you’ll be able to select from dozens of different T-Shirts, Mousepads, Coffee Cups and related South Carolina political memorabilia.
And just as we sought your feedback last week on the various special features we’re going to incorporate into the new website (editor’s note: sorry, no sharks with lasers on their heads), we also wanted to get your thoughts on the merchandising side of the equation as well. Specifically, what should we put the FITS logo and all the other funny stuff we come up with on?
Obviously, the Andre Bauer Is My Co-Pilot T-shirts featured today will be a given. Well, assuming somebody with a CafePress account doesn’t beat us to the punch, that is. But hey, in addition to being rich already it turns out we’re a veritable fount of irreverent creativity, which means we can afford to give away our good ideas, yo. UPDATE - In case this post doesn’t make any sense to you, S.C. Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer nearly died in a plane crash two years ago, which isn’t funny of course, but he did survive and he’s always been a good sport in our book. In fact, we saw Andre earlier today, and while he didn’t necessarily “approve this message,” we think he’ll be cool with it.
