Okay. For starters, bad writers should not attempt to edit or criticize someone else’ writing. Illiterate is a term used to describe an individual that cannot read, nor write. Be careful there with your bigoted, opinionated, erroneous statements about another human being of which you clearly know nothing about.
Kirstie’s “deal” with Jenny Craig is known only to herself and the weight loss company. None of us was there. We do not know the specific details and it is ignorant to assume you have the right to judge and condemn.
That being stated, Kirstie Allie is “out there” in the public eye, visible to all. We are not!! It takes courage, and stamina, beyond what you have experienced, to survive and continue in the public eye.
As far as her “religion,” though I do not agree with it – the last I heard – the USA is a country that observes freedom to worship as you please. The celebrities that are members of Scientology are talented with or without the cult.
Keep in mind, also, that maybe these celebrities like Tom Cruise, Kirstie Allie, and John Travolta, do not have full knowledge of the workings of the cult. Celebrities are pandered to and pampered in order to engage their endorsements.
I know firsthand. Please shut your mouth about Kirstie, because you are showing your lack of education, research and knowledge.
She is the only one here on this board that is publicly visible and I have faith that she is here for a reason.
She has something to say and to teach us all.
Shut the front door and listen!!!!!!!!

Kirstie’s plateaus are simply echoes of the true cycle of human life. While we all imagine ourselves most beautiful as thin, nothing could be further from reality, especially once us women hit the fifties. Sure it’s easy to set yourself up for failure and keep adding that extra helping of whatever you love, but when you hit failure after failure without doing anything different from your skinny 20’s, it becomes crystal clear that fat is not something that will automatically fade as soon as you starting eating “better.” It takes months of hard work and rigid discipline.

Kirstie, forgive yourself, and stop hiding. You have nothing to be ashamed of!

We are not supposed to judge others..period. But as I read the crazy comments most of you do just that. We are all beautiful people no matter what size, shape or color. I agree that we should be healthy. But I also think we should not speak for others unless we have walked in their shoes.

This came back to me for a new comment. I do not care what religion she is …..I do care that she is a beautiful human being and how dare anyone talk smack about her. I have watched her shows laughing and crying with her. Who cares who she has sued unless you have walked in her shoes you have no reason to criticize her. I will always enjoy her as an actress.

I have never been fat and today at 44 I am still in a very good shape! I have eaten all kind of shit and still people don’t understand how come I have this body! I will tell you why? I have small portions and I do lotsss of sports!

On this she might not move enought for what she eats but it can also be her metabolism or her Menopause, whos knows! I believe people should have respect and the trash magazine don’t comment on this at all.

How dare anyone call someone fat and illiterate. Kirstie has given us years of laughter and we reward her by belittling her and saying this stuff. I hope someday you are put in that same position and someone does that to you. Shave on you. She is a person and must be highly intelligent and bright. Talking to people like you does not matter. She will always be remembered I doubt you will.

Kirstie needs a stylist not a diet. Sure, most of us could afford to lose a few pounds, but she needs to work w/ what she has. I’d love to see her on What Not to Wear w/ Stacey & Clinton.

A new hairdo, clothes that actually fit her body and are more age appropriate could do wonders for her self esteem.

Look at larger actresses like Queen Latifa who are big yet are really beautiful.

Sure, health is important, but size is not excuse for sloppiness.

Scientology kills careers? What rock have you been hiding under? All the high profile Scientologist actors out there have seen their careers hit all time highs after they became involved. I’m not a scientologist or ever plan to be one, but I can accept a fact when I see it. You should learn that skill.

Well, I fell off of the JC bandwagon, and still have the weight on. I’ve tried other diets, just don’t have the time to write everything down and plan it out. I’m going back to JC, and the website is updated, and looks fabulous. Wouldn’t it be great for Kirstie to go back, and to show everyone that Jenny Craig can work the second time or third, etc.?
