SOUTH CAROLINA REPUBLICANS REALLY ARE IN TROUBLE, PEOPLE

FITSNews – February 14, 2008 – We’ve always liked the guys over at The Palmetto Scoop, and we sincerely appreciate their recent efforts to incorporate more of our sardonic wit into their musings. Imitation is the soul of brevity (or something like that), and we think the fact that a lot of FITS wannabes are popping up in the S.C. blogosphere these days is a fitting tribute to our brilliance. Well, perhaps “fitting” is stretching it a bit, but it’s a nice start.

Regrettably, though, the Scoop is quickly becoming the leading apologist for the leaderless, left-leaning South Carolina Republican Party, which is about as fractured and fiscally irresponsible these days as a Streisand fan … in a body cast.

With a record of anti-accomplishment that an implosion expert would be proud of, the SCGOP is in real danger of losing its legislative majority within the next 2-3 election cycles, much like the national party lost its majority after it made the decision that special interest spending was more important than putting money into your pocket.

Sound familiar, Palmetto taxpayers? It should.

Unfortunately, rather than boot the GOP turncoats who grew government twenty times faster than your paycheck last year, the SCGOP and its new mouthpiece are telling you to “pay no attention to that disaster behind the curtain.”

We wish it were that simple, but South Carolina is seriously screwed up, people. And it’s getting screwed upped-er every year that we keep doing the same sh*t and expecting something different to happen.

“It’s a good time to be a Republican candidate in South Carolina,” the Scoop’s latest advertisement for the SCGOP reads. “Not only do they hold the governor’s mansion, the lieutenant governor’s office, six of the seven statewide elected posts, and a majority in both chambers of the state legislature, but new numbers show that they have a significant financial advantage going into this November’s general election.”

Geez, isn’t this the same guy who just got through telling us that all Mitt Romney’s money couldn’t buy him love at the polls?

We told you that, too, by the way. And we’ll tell it to you again now as it relates to South Carolina Republicans.

Listen to us now and hear us later, people … listen to us now and hear us later.

give a fat kid in a wheelchair a break, Will! He obviously does nothing more than pimp for who is told to pimp for. That kind of sounds like all of the unfair allegations leveled against you for playing with SCRG, Club for Growth etc.

This kid is just glad there is a wheelchair ramp to the backporch. If you drink free liquor long enough, you become clueless to what is really going on.

Pictured is the S.C. Republic’Rat Party leader in chief (recognized by the broad rear of his pants) picking up the latest scoop of willie-scam.

sic(k) willie spreads so much bull-sh@t that someone has to pick up after his droppings. Hey, guys, make sure you wipe him.

The Scoop ain’t the problem (in fact I read it everday and am thankful for it). The problem is the GOP.

Katon and Sanford both have one goal in mind…personal glory and power. They have a few cronys with them…and they have hijacked the party to suit their needs.

Soon we will be rid of them both, and hopefully we will find a couple of real leaders that actualy care about implementing REAL CONSERVATIVE government….not just talking about it as they line their pockets and build their address books.

Isn’t it about time to stop with the “real” republican talk. The party has screwed the pooch nationally and locally. The party “is what it is”, you can’t escape blame for failed policies by now claiming that they aren’t really conservative.

Let’s have some accountability here for where the GOP is now.

I don’t feel sorry for people who are fat or in wheelchairs. I guess that means I’ve graduated to the level of Really Evil Conservative. And, no, for the one out there who asked me to not criticize WheelChair Boy because “he doesn’t have long to live”: It didn’t work.
By the way, SpeedRacer is also the webmaster for this website: http://www.SouthernPartisan.net. No, not because he wants to be. He hates everything about the site. Just goes to show for his pimping. …But he’s sentimental about TPS.
