Hillary Is Beaming With Confidence
THAT WOULD MAKE A NICE U.S. QUARTER, PEOPLE
FITSNews – February 12, 2008 – Our bet is if they ever make a U.S. Quarter with Hillary Clinton on it, they’ll use that picture above. Of course they don’t make quarters out of people who can’t even win their own party’s presidential nomination (editor’s note: cue “Dragnet” theme), which is Hillary’s current campaign trajectory.
Anyway, with Democrat Barack Obama currently walking on water, causing the blind to see and turning water into really tasty grape juice, it appears Team Hill is bracing for another round of losses in tonight’s so-called “Potomac Primaries.” According to CBS:
A source close to the (Clinton) campaign is downplaying expectations, telling CBS News that “we will lose all three (contests) today, probably by wide margins.â€
Talk about a unique voter motivation strategy. Of course as hot as Yo-bama is right now, it’s not over by a long shot for Clinton. That’s because unlike Republicans, the Democrats have what are known as “super-delegates,” which are basically the same as regular delegates except they can fly and see through people’s clothes.
Well, sort of. According to USA Today, “super-delegates” are Democrats who are not bound by primary and caucus results when they go to the party convention this summer to cast their vote for the party’s nominee. Which sort of defeats the purpose of having primaries and caucuses, but whatever.

did anyone happen to see Dan Abrams interview this 21 year old super-delegate from WI last night? His was a total loser. Man, I’m glad I didn’t waste my college days being “politically active”. I’d bet that guy never gets laid.

Never underestimate the Byzantine nature of the Democratic nomination process. I imagine the reason for superdelegates is to offset the proportional representation thing and help decide a nominee earlier.
In SC, the SCDP superdelegates who haven’t endorsed include Carol Fowler, Wilbur Lee Jeffcoat and Gilda Cobb-Hunter.

Hillary on a quarter? Are you kidding Sic Willie? At the rate our dollar is declining in value, by the time Hillary becomes President (and she will beat Obama with the super delegate trick), a quarter won’t even buy you a ….. well come to think of it a quarter ain’t worth nothing today anyhow.

I do hope the Clinton Machine tries the “Superdelegate” gambit along with the Florida/Michigan retroactive delegate seatings. That should lead to a riot in Denver that will make Chicago ‘68 look like a walk in Grant Park. My favorite reality TV moment from my youth was watching the Democrat’s Chicago Convention and Riot. (That was before “Reality TV” meant an unscripted show with an editing script.)
My kids should get to watch the party of Karl Marx self-destruct in a burning, screaming, raging inferno just as I did as a 15 year old still wearing my AuH2O’64 button. It’s fun!
Clintonism ended the week of January 20, 2008 in South Carolina and Bill Clinton was the one who killed it. When you think about it, he’s the only one who could.
