“Sexy Hawk” Update
WE TOLD YOU WE’D BE WATCHING …
FITSNews – February 7, 2008 – It’s not like the overt commie designs of the South Carolina Supreme Soviet … errr, State Senate are all that difficult to discern, but sometimes the scam artists running our state into the ground go a little overboard in abusing their positions of public trust to achieve favorable financial results for themselves.
Sort of like the five State Senators who are currently trying to make millions of dollars in class action lawsuits off of an industry they’re simultaneously attempting to regulate … using judges they appointed, to boot. In case you don’t remember their names from another blatantly self-serving conflict of interest racket, the jokers we’re referring to are Sen. John Hawkins, Sen. Brad Hutto, Sen. Luke Rankin, Sen. Vince Sheheen and Sen. David Thomas.
Word around the S.C. State House is that these habitual pocket-padders have fast-tracked a payday lending ban in the Senate Soviet, meaning that “debate” on the issue will begin as early as next week. Now … since you’re no doubt wondering this by now … where does the hot Atlanta Hawks dancer (pictured above) enter into this equation?
Well, we promised in an earlier post that we would be watching this issue like “sexy hawks,” waiting to see if any of these lawyer-legislators would take the floor and trade in their oaths of office for a fat personal payday (which is not surprisingly what their proletarian comrades over at La Socialista are urging them to do).
And frankly we thought our girl Briana was a lot sexier than this guy …
Stay tuned … frankly, we think it’ll be interesting to see if these “champions of the poor and downtrodden” reject a fair compromise on a much-needed reform for the sole purpose of fattening their wallets … again.

Will,
You have a great blog here. I’m most envious of your writing abilty and support your efforts. I probably read your posts an average of about once a week. It’s very enlightening. We can kind of read between the lines in news reports of the “goings on” in the SC General Assembly, but reading your posts enables one to “fit the puzzle together.” PLEASE CONTINUE THIS MOST INFORMATIVE SITE. GREAT WORK SIR!

You gotta believe that the “nuclear option” is an attempt to get a compromise from an industry that has fought tooth and nail against a compromise.
