This Is Hannah Montana?
NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE’RE A BIT CONFUSED
FITSNews – January 22, 2008 – Having operated under the assumption that Hannah Montana was an actual person all these minutes years, imagine the crushing blow that fell this morning when we discovered that the preteen platinum queen was actually the real-world daughter of this guy – not to mention the fact she has evidently gone with the temperamental goth look.
Personally, we think Miss Montana (a.k.a. Billy Ray’s daughter Miley Cyrus) looks more like the love child of John Stamos and Tori Amos (which would make her “Miley Stamos-Amos”), but whatever. The fact is we’ve fallen for yet another clever reality TV marketing ploy with nothing to show for it other than an insanely annoying song that’s stuck in our heads like a land war in Asia.

I’m ashamed to say I actually knew she was Billy Ray’s daughter although I don’t know how. Perhaps osmosis. Isn’t he on the show or wrote the theme song or something?

Miley is gradually moving away from the Hannah Montana image. I’m hoping that her solo career is a success, but who can say if she’ll follow the eventual Britney path or not.

I do personally think that Miley will rebel.
Hopefully not as bad as Britney Spears or Lidsey Lohan, but who can be sure? We have already seen her rebel, with her photo scandal.
(She took pictures of herself in her underwear holding her shirtup with her teeth, and (Supposedly) sent the pictures to Nick Jonas)
