This Is Why Politics Sucks

FITSNews - January 18, 2008 - In all fairness to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the AP reporter who caused him to throw this hissy fit was being an argumentative jackass. Of course in all fairness to the reporter, if every other word out of Romney’s mouth wasn’t complete and total bullshit, perhaps reporters wouldn’t have to be such argumentative jackasses.
It’s a vicious cycle, people.
More importantly, it’s stupid shit like this that makes people hate politics so much. Sure Romney’s hair looks great, but everybody in this video is white, whiny, hopelessly annoying and hellbent on interrupting each other. Which would be pretty cool if it were accompanied by explosions, naked chicks and interesting subject matter, or at the very least somebody dropping the fancypants attitude for half a second and speaking in American, as in “Dude, chill out.”
As it is, though, watching this video is a lot like watching two gay Trekkies arguing over who gets to dress up as Captain Kirk at the next Star Trek Convention.

“Don’t be argumenative with the candidate” Clearly, the presses role, according to Romney and Co., is to be cordial and report even those things which they believe to be untrue. Hopefully a President Romney will be able to get rid of pesky reports as such and maybe just have government reporters?

Reporters like this just get in the way of Romney’s message-of course no one knows what the exact message is - except telling people what he thinks they want to hear.

So let me get this right - Romney now wants up to believe that lobbyist Warren Tompkins isn’t running his SC campaign? Or is Romney saying Tompkins is not a lobbyist? And he wonders why people view him as a lying, flip-flopping, wishy-washy, waffle monger. His funny undies must be cutting off blood flow to his so-called brain.
