Golf Is Getting Pretty Controversial
RACIAL COMMENTS, RACIAL MAGAZINE COVERS … AND LET’S NOT FORGET THOSE GAY ASS CLOTHES
FITSNews - January 18, 2008 - We’ve never watched the Golf Channel before, because as it turns out we’re not eighty years old. That’s probably why we’ve never heard of commentator Kelly Tilghman, who said earlier this week that one way young golfers could stop Tiger Woods would be to “lynch him in a back alley.” Then, for some reason, the editors of Golfweek Magazine decided that best graphic to use in covering this controversy was this picture of a noose. Not surprisingly, the editor who thought that was a good idea is now looking for a new job:
Golfweek magazine, which published a cover with a noose set against a purplish sky to illustrate its coverage of a controversial comment about Tiger Woods, announced Friday that it had fired Dave Seanor, the editor who approved the cover.
We hate political correctness, people, but we can’t help but think that they should fire everybody in golf right now whose name isn’t “Tiger Woods.” Seriously, the world isn’t going to miss watching a bunch of Cadillac-drivin’, Viagra-poppin’, sweatervest-wearin’ country clubbers and their pastel-happy Eurotrash butt-buddies getting all red-faced every time Tiger smokes their asses on the links … again.
In fact, the only way Tiger Woods could more thoroughly own white people right now would be if … you know, come to think of it there’s nothing Tiger Woods could do to more thoroughly own white people right now.

sic(k) willie,
You’ve got to do better to continue as a professional blogger. BTW, does a retirement plan come with that profession? Doubt it.
Your golf posts are stupid. But like Forrest Gump taught us, “Stupid is, as stupid does.” You did make one “smart man” post recently.
The State has been investigating Ben Tillman. Gosh! Like one of your “williescams.” They got to the bottom of something everyone knows (or should know, if they live in SC).
Hey willie, here’s a tip you can pass on to The State: Nathan Bedford Forrest might have sold slaves before the Civil War. We also heard, around the water cooler, that Strom had a “Strom problem.” But there’s nothing to back that up. What have you heard?
